關於HASS Lab
HASS Lab是一個集合不同藝術家、跨界製作人的創作團隊，由白雙全、陳卓卓牽頭成立。團隊與教師、社工及不同社區團體合作，旨在開拓藝術介入生活的各種可能，提倡以藝術家思維來理解、詮釋及改善社會。
團隊深信社會上每一個人，均有其創作的本能；這種本能在一些邊緣化的群體中，往往更直接地表現。我們觀察、整理、展現這些創作的本能，並嘗試另辟蹊徑，改變社會對藝術創作的認知。
HASS Lab於2022年6月成立，至2025年5月為天台塾旗下組織，並現已獨立運作。網址：www.hasslab.hk
About HASS Lab
Founded by visual artist Pak Sheung Chuen and Cherry Chan, HASS Lab is a collective of artists and cross-disciplinary producers dedicated to advocating art and artist thinking as a new way of understanding and valuing society. Through working with educators, social workers and other community organisations, it builds programmes that present an alternative perspective on abilities and success of socially marginalised communities.
HASS Lab was founded in June. 2022. It was organisationally part of Rooftop Institute until May 2025, and is now operating independently. Website: www.hasslab.hk
核心信念
- 相信人的創作本能；
- 創意是人對外在世界（包括情境、語境及現實限制等因素）的回應，而非追求指定的目標；
- 藝術有轉換的力量，可以將負面的能量化為正向；
- 因應現今以影像為主導的社會，普及的視覺語言運用、溝通及理解能力，對社會發展相當重要。

- Creativity is a human instinct regardless of ability
- Creativity is a response to conditions and constraints in a given context, and is not goal oriented
- Art has the transformative power to convert negative energy into positive strengths
