The unexpected pandemic at the beginning of the year has shaken the world. My son, I observed, was very afraid of going out and contacting people. Thus, I helped him plan his free time, giving him extra small tasks daily. Be it imposition or induction, I wanted to take him back to a world full of possibilities and wonders to explore. For example, one night I invited him to do something after taking out the rubbish with me: shoot the dead corners. It’s very simple; hold up a torch and aim at a dead corner of a neighbouring village house roof floor. Turn the torch on and if you aim correctly, you get five points. The person with more points wins. He was so excited that he picked up a torch and a toy gun. We went around the village alleys in the dark several times to shoot the corners. He said it was like ‘shooting zombies’, very exciting. I hope we didn’t disturb our neighbours!
